The comfort of our patients is paramount to us. That is why, when performing the evaluation, the dentist will consult with you to find out if you are experiencing any particular pains. The teeth and gums will be inspected, and any necessary treatments will be discussed with you and decided upon at that time. You will also receive a cleaning and polishing from one of our experienced Dental Hygienists.
The best way to gauge a dentist’s reputation is to ensure they are properly licensed to perform their work. Here at CITIDental, our dentists and hygienists are OSHA-trained and compliant. The practice itself is board-certified and in good standing with the Massachusetts Dental Society.
We do. Patient welfare and treatment is the most important thing, and we realize that not everyone has access to insurance to get that treatment. There are a couple of options for how you can still get the treatment necessary and we would be more than happy to discuss them.
We recognize that the insurance world can be a huge pain. Our Office Manager specializes in the arcane nuances of the medical insurance industry. They would be more than happy to walk you through the process and check your plan on your behalf.
One method to decrease sensitivity is to avoid highly acidic foods like oranges, grapefruits or lemons, as well as to cut down on acidic beverages like soda, coffee or tea. There is also a variety of toothpaste designed specifically for sensitive teeth. These pastes contain strontium chloride or potassium nitrate, which are very effective at treating sensitivity and usually yield positive results within a week of use. If sensitivity persists, visit our offices. Our dentists can apply compounds in the office to help battle this issue. For more information on sealants, contact our offices.
Morning breath is caused by sulfur compounds generated when bacteria breaks down food particles. During waking hours, your saliva acts as a natural mouthwash. At night, the body produces less saliva, which leads to morning breath. Chronic mouth odor can be a sign of illness and should be treated by a dentist.
